We opened the gates for food trader applications early in the year, handpicking a mix of beloved regulars and exciting newcomers. After careful selection with the organisers, the stage was set for a diverse gastronomic journey.
Setting up camp
Using ‘Festival Pro,’ we streamlined the allocation of tickets, passes, and electric feeds. This handy tool also became our go-to for health and safety documentation, ensuring every trader was ready to serve safely.
Feeding the dream team
For two weeks, our team fuelled the crew, ensuring they had the energy to bring the festival’s magic to life. Our efforts didn’t stop when the last tent was pitched; we continued to nourish the hardworking team post-event as well.
The Potting Shed: A garden delight
Our crown jewel was ‘The Potting Shed’ restaurant. Adorned with sunflowers from the festival’s meadow, it was a haven of tranquillity and taste. Guests could relax, scan QR codes, and have food and drinks delivered to their tables, bypassing the usual queues. We even had a VIP oak table for special guests, adding an extra touch of elegance.
Tech magic with NOQ
Partnering with NOQ, we introduced a seamless till system that was a game-changer. It cut down post-event admin drastically by processing crew tokens in real-time and automating commission deductions. The offline functionality ensured no sales were lost due to signal issues, a common hiccup at festivals.
